Water Shortage Contingency Plan

The Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP) serves as JCSD’s roadmap for preparing for and responding to water supply shortages that may result from drought, regulatory requirements, infrastructure failures, water quality challenges, or other emergency conditions. The plan outlines water shortage stages, response actions, and conservation measures that may be implemented to help maintain a reliable water supply and protect public health and safety. JCSD updates the WSCP in accordance with California law to ensure the District remains prepared for changing conditions and future water supply challenges.

JCSD’s public hearing on the UWMP and the WSCP is scheduled for June 8, 2026, at 6:00 PM, in the boardroom of Jurupa Community Services District’s (JCSD) offices, located at 11201 Harrel St., Jurupa Valley, CA 91752.
