Ms. Folsom has been a resident of the Indian Hills area of Jurupa Valley since 1971. She is a retired educator with twenty-five years of service as a high school teacher, counselor, and administrator in the Jurupa Unified School District and the Riverside County Office of Education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and Secondary Teaching Credential from Cal State University Fullerton, and a Master of Education degree from Azusa Pacific University.
She has earned numerous credentials and certificates related to Administration and Student Support Services and has served on state and federal task forces and committees dedicated to the education, health, and well-being of children. Her children and grandchildren have all attended JUSD schools. An Advisory Board member at the Rubidoux Family Resource Center, Ms. Folsom also currently serves as the Club Administrator for the Rotary Club of Jurupa Valley.
