Jurupa Valley, CA (June 23, 2025)—The Jurupa Community Services District (JCSD) proudly celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Picnic in the Park with another record-breaking year, drawing approximately 20,000 guests to JCSD’s Eastvale Community Park over the three-day celebration. What began two decades ago as a grassroots effort by a small group of Eastvale volunteers has grown into the region’s most anticipated summer tradition under JCSD’s leadership.

This year’s milestone event featured an exciting lineup of entertainment, concerts, expanded carnival rides, and over 90 food and craft vendors. The highlight of JCSD’s Picnic in the Park was once again its signature fifteen-minute fireworks show that lit up the Eastvale sky. Saturday night’s fireworks show drew the largest attendance of the three-day event. The weekend celebration once again delivered unforgettable memories for families, friends, and neighbors throughout the community.

“This event has always been about bringing people together,” said JCSD Board Director Lupe Nava, who served on the original Picnic in the Park Committee that started the tradition 20 years ago. “To see it grow from a local gathering to an event that welcomes over 20,000 people is incredible. I’m proud of JCSD for continuing to make this celebration something special for our community year after year.”

Throughout the weekend, guests enjoyed vibrant music featuring popular tribute bands, delicious food, family-friendly activities, and interactive games. The atmosphere was filled with community spirit and celebration, honoring both the past and future of this cherished event.

The success of Picnic in the Park reflects JCSD’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality parks and recreation programming that enhances the quality of life for the Eastvale community. As JCSD continues to support community engagement and enrichment, Picnic in the Park stands as a shining example of what’s possible through collaboration, planning, and a shared love for community.
