The California Water Environment Association Recognizes Jurupa Community Services District With Four State Awards

Jurupa Valley, CA (May 15, 2023) – The California Water Environment Association (CWEA) has recognized Jurupa Community Services District (JCSD) at its annual state conference for four awards received in the Santa Ana River Basin Section (SARBS) category. The CWEA awards are presented to outstanding water industry professionals who go above and beyond their job responsibilities to make significant contributions to the field.

The awards were initially presented during the annual regional conference in Anaheim, California. JCSD was further recognized for this outstanding achievement during the recent state conference in San Diego.

JCSD received the awards in four categories: Collection System Person of the Year, Pretreatment, Pollution Prevention & Stormwater (P3S) Person of the Year, Operations and Maintenance Gimmicks and Gadgets, and Collection Systems Gimmicks and Gadgets.

“We are honored to receive these awards from the CWEA,” said JCSD Board Director Anthony Herda, Chair of the Engineering, Operations, and Conservation Committee. “Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and making a positive impact in our community. These awards are a testament to JCSD’s commitment to excellence in the water industry.”
