Jurupa Community Services District’s 2023 Board Officers Take Their Seats
Jurupa Valley, CA (December 16, 2022) – Division 2 Director Lupe R. Nava was named President of the Jurupa Community Service District (JCSD) Board of Directors this week by her peers.
President Nava brings extensive knowledge to her new post with over 25 years of professional experience with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. In addition to her experience, President Nava holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration. As a long-time community leader, President Nava was one of the leaders of the Eastvale Events Committee, which helped establish annual events such as the original Fall Festival and Picnic in the Park.
“It is a privilege to serve as President of the Board of Directors and lead JCSD into the new year,” said President Nava. “I plan on tackling issues like drought, helping diversify JCSD’s water portfolio, and ensuring that Eastvale continues to receive superior parks and recreation services.”
President Nava began representing Division 2 on the JCSD Board of Directors in 2020. Division 2 includes large portions of both Eastvale and Jurupa Valley.
Serving alongside President Nava will be Director Bart Moreno, who was selected to serve as Vice President of the Board of Directors. Vice President Moreno has represented Division 4 since 2020. Division 4 is located in Eastvale, east of Harrison. .
