Northwest Mosquito & Vector Control District will perform adult mosquito spray treatments on October 30th, 2020 to lower the mosquito population affecting recreational and residential areas along the Santa Ana River in the City of Eastvale. The spray application will be conducted between the hours of 2:00 am to 6:00 am at the following locations: the Riverwalk Park and bike trail located next to the Santa Ana River, Eastvale Community Park, and Granja Vista Wetlands.
This action is in response to elevated abundance of adult mosquitos and proactively helps prevent diseases such as West Nile Virus. (https://westnile.ca.gov/) It is in the interest of public health and safety. Posting notifications helps with awareness and transparency. Signs were posted on October 28th, 2020 in the areas affected by their spray operations to inform the public of their activities.
