It is with gratitude today that we thank those that served and sacrificed so that we could live with peace and freedoms.
Veterans Day is an opportunity to let our Veterans know just how much we appreciate them, which is why JCSD is honoring our Veteran employees on our Social Media all week long. (November 9th – November 13th on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
Public utility work may seem like a natural transition into a civilian career for Veterans since the training and mindset they acquire in the military are valued and appreciated in utilities. When an employee shows up with a “can do” attitude and demonstrates their teamwork, dedication, loyalty, and integrity, the work gets done and professional relationships flourish.
Veterans perform well in public utilities and public utilities are lucky to have Veterans.
