The Records and Information Management Division oversees official JCSD documents and assists the public with access to public documents. The public can request to review or receive copies of public documents from JCSD under the California Public Records Act, Government Code sections 6250–6276.48.
To submit a Public Records Request, please submit the form below or call (951) 685-7434 x153. To ensure the correct documents are provided, please give specifics about the documents so the correct items are provided.
Due to workload and time constraints, staff will advise the requester within 10 calendar days after receiving a Public Records Request whether JCSD will provide the requested records and will also advise when the documents will be available for review or when copies will be available for pick up. In some cases, JCSD may extend the response time to a Public Records Request up to 14 additional days. Also, certain JCSD records (i.e., employee personnel information) are not considered public records and may be withheld from public disclosure.
