The JCSD Kids Zone is an award-winning recreation and enrichment program designed for students in Grades K-6. We provide a vibrant, secure, and high-energy environment where students can unwind after the school day, explore new interests, and build lasting friendships. Our program is led by a professional team of responsible leaders who prioritize safety, social-emotional growth, and most importantly, fun!

    *Please Note: A new Registration Packet is required for every student, every school year. Additionally, an annual registration fee must be completed before you can proceed with enrollment at any of our Kids Zone sites.

Program is in session Monday through Friday.

  • After School: School dismissal to 6:30 p.m. (Includes minimum days).
  • Before School: Starts at 6:30 a.m. (Available at select sites).
  • Off-Track: Starts at 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

  • Annual Forms: A 2025-2026 Enrollment & Acknowledgment form must be submitted yearly.
  • Annual Registration Fee: Must be paid in full before your student’s first day.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. JCSD Kids Zone does not accept same-day or same-week registrations. To ensure we have the proper staffing ratios and supplies prepared for every student, all registrations must be completed at least 2 weeks prior to the start of a session. We recommend checking our registration portal early, as sites often reach capacity quickly.

JCSD Kids Zone has a strict no-refund and no-credit policy. Fees are not prorated or credited for days missed due to illness, vacations, or other personal reasons. Because our staffing and supplies are secured in advance based on enrollment, we are unable to adjust fees once a session has begun.

Yes. A new Registration Packet is required for every student, every school year. Additionally, an annual registration fee must be completed before you can proceed with monthly enrollment at any of our Kids Zone sites.

Kids Zone follows the CNUSD school calendar. If school is closed for a holiday or teacher prep day, the standard Kids Zone program is also closed. For Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer breaks, JCSD offers separate Day Camps that require a different registration.
