The JCSD Parks and Recreation Department has won numerous awards for various events and activities from the California Parks and Recreation Society. We hope that you and your family will join us each year for the annual events listed below.
Let the hunt begin! Annually, on the Saturday prior to Easter, the JCSD Parks & Recreation Department invites you and your family to Eastvale Community Park for Eastvale’s EGG-cellent Adventure. Thousands of eggs are scattered throughout the field for kids of all ages to find. Found eggs contain prizes (candy, toys, etc.), special eggs with grand prizes, additional activities, and food vendors.
Annually in May, break out the camping gear and join us at Eastvale’s Community Camp-Out! This overnight adventure includes a barbeque dinner, kids’ crafts, entertainment, s’mores, campfire songs, night games and a continental breakfast.
Bring your blanket and chair and enjoy the annual Movies in the Park with your family and friends. This free event occurs on the second Saturday in May, June, July, August and September. The location of the movies varies, and a snack bar is available at each movie.
Come join the JCSD Parks and Recreation Department at Eastvale Community Park annually on the last weekend in June for Picnic in the Park. Picnic in the Park is a three-day event beginning on Friday night with live entertainment, games for the family, food and vendors. On Saturday night, enjoy an amazing fireworks show, and on Sunday, enjoy family picnic games and live entertainment.
Annually on Fridays from the first week in July through the middle of August, at Harada Heritage Park, 13099 65th Street, Eastvale, CA 92880. This event features great live summer music, food vendors and fun for the entire family. Join us every summer. This event is free to attend and is open to the public.
Welcome the fall season with JCSD’s Annual Fall Festival. This event typically takes place on the first Saturday in October. The community is invited to enjoy a variety of merchandise and food vendors, arts and crafts, contests for children and adults, and live music. Activities include a Costume Contest, Red Wagon Parade, Pumpkin Patch, Food Vendors, Hay Maze, and other good old-fashioned family fun. This community tradition was started in 2004 at Midhill Dairy to commemorate the area’s dairyland heritage.
