Parks & Facilities

Maintaining the aesthetic beauty and overall health of designated public areas is a top priority for JCSD.  The Parks Maintenance Division responsible for this task can be seen throughout the service area on a daily basis, including weekends, to make sure these areas are properly maintained.  Areas that are maintained by JCSD include frontage landscaping in designated public areas and parks and facilities within the boundaries of Hamner, Hellman, Bellegrave and the Santa Ana River.

Capital Improvement Projects

Every two years during the budget development process, Parks & Recreation Department staff identifies Capital Improvement Projects (“CIP”) to complete to enhance and increase the longevity of our park system and quality of life for those who enjoy them.  The CIP Projects for Fiscal Year 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 along with their statuses as of March 2025 are as follows:
