There are two volunteer programs designed so that residents can become more involved in the community and enjoy a rewarding experience. As a JCSD volunteer or as a volunteer for a local Eastvale sports league, you will have fun, meet new people, and enhance the parks and recreation experience for the community.
JCSD Volunteer Program
The JCSD Parks & Recreation Department believes that volunteers play an integral role in our daily operations. Volunteering is important because it fosters community connection, promotes personal growth, and helps us bring great service to the community. By giving your time, you can make a tangible difference in the lives of others, gain new experiences, and develop valuable skills.

Sports League Volunteer
All JCSD Parks & Recreation Department volunteers are required to complete a background check. To begin the process, please purchase a Background Check request. Please allow up to five (5) business days for processing of background screenings. You will not be contacted once your screening has been completed.
The California Penal Code Section 11105 allows public agencies such as JCSD to obtain State summary criminal background information from the Department of Justice. Please download Background Checks for Volunteers to view JCSD’s Background Procedures.
