Forms of Customer Communication
For significant planned service disruptions, JCSD may send written letters in advance to affected customers. These letters outline the nature of the work, expected impact, and any preparatory steps you might need to take. Receiving this information ahead of time helps you plan accordingly and reduces the disruption to your daily routine.
Door hangers are used to alert customers about upcoming or ongoing service disruptions in their area. Placed conveniently at your residence or business, these notices provide essential details such as the duration of the disruption and any necessary actions you should take. Door hangers ensure that even if you miss other forms of communication, you still receive the critical information.
In cases of urgent or impactful service disruptions, JCSD may make direct phone calls to affected customers. These calls are intended to provide you with timely and personalized updates, ensuring you are fully informed and prepared for any changes to your service.
When on-site at a service disruption, JCSD personnel directly engage with customers to provide updates and answer questions. This personal interaction ensures that affected residents and businesses receive immediate, accurate information and support.
