Northwest Mosquito & Vector Control District will perform adult mosquito spray treatments on June 25th, 2021 to lower the mosquito population affecting recreational and residential areas along the Santa Ana River in the City of Eastvale. The spray application will be conducted between the hours of 3:00 am to 6:00 am at the following locations: the Riverwalk bike trail, Eastvale Community Park, and Granja Vista Wetlands, located next to the Santa Ana River.
This action is in response to elevated abundance of adult mosquitos and proactively helps prevent diseases such as West Nile Virus. It is in the interest of public health and safety. Posting notifications helps with awareness and transparency. Signs were posted on June 16th, 2021 in the areas affected by their spray operations to inform the public.
Information regarding the treatment is posted on their website at www.NorthwestMVCD.org. If there are any questions or concerns, please contact the District at 951-340-9792.
