It is with gratitude today that we thank those who served and sacrificed so that we could live with peace and freedom.
Veterans Day is an opportunity to let those who have served in the armed forces know just how much we appreciate them. For the second year in a row, JCSD is honoring our veteran employees on our Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) during Veterans Day week.
Veterans have unique training and professional experience acquired during their service that is valued and appreciated in utilities. This is why public utility work is often a natural transition into a civilian career for many Veterans. When an employee shows up with a “can-do” attitude and demonstrates teamwork, dedication, loyalty, and integrity, the work gets done and local communities flourish.
JCSD is lucky to have so many Veterans serving our community.
