Public water systems, such as JCSD, are regulated by the California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB).  As a result, each month JCSD tests water supplies for various contaminants including nitrates and reports monthly findings to the SWRCB.  Metered tap water in the JCSD service area meets the SWRCB standards for levels of nitrate as N, which has been set at 10 milligrams per liter (mg/L).  Below are the monthly nitrate reports JCSD has submitted to the SWRCB.
