This Department is the first point of contact for all employees. The Human Resources department function includes a variety of activities, and key among them is recruitment, planning, hiring processes, selection, employee relations, labor relations, performance evaluation , training and development, employee records and personnel policies, compensation, pensions, and benefits in liaison with payroll, employee safety.

Jurupa Community Services District requires the completion of a District employment application for all job openings.

Resumes will not be accepted in lieu a completed District application; however resumes may be included as an attachment to the required District application. Applications and additional materials can be completed in person, faxed, mailed or submitted online.

The district offers paid internship opportunities to university and college students providing them with hands on experience of working in a public agency. Please see our open positions page for available internships. Listed below are the general intern application requirements:

· Must be currently enrolled in an accredited program as a graduate/undergraduate student in a related field to the position you are applying for (see job description for specifics)

· Must be proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel

· Must indicate program of study or provide copies of transcripts

· Must provide samples of relevant coursework along with an application

· Must complete the online employment application

o Please note: An incomplete employment application will delay processing and could prevent applicant from meeting the requirements/qualifications

· Must be able to provide proof of employment eligibility
